Terms & Conditions

Naturally You Holistic Therapies
Effective Date: 21st May 2025

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of services provided by Naturally You Holistic Therapies ("we," "us," "our," "the Centre") located at Unit 2, Boswell”s Coach House, Auchinleck, KA18 2LR. By booking or receiving any of our services, you ("client," "you") agree to be bound by these terms.
 

2. Services Offered

We provide holistic health and wellness services including but not limited to:

  • Therapeutic massage

  • Reflexology

  • Facials

  • Nutritional Therapy consultations

  • Other complementary therapies as advertised
     

3. Booking and Appointments

3.1 Booking Confirmation

All appointments must be booked in advance either by telephone, online, or in person. Appointments are confirmed upon receipt of booking and any required deposit.
 

3.2 Cancellation Policy

  • 24 hours notice required for cancellations

  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will incur a 50% charge

  • No-shows will be charged the full treatment fee

  • We reserve the right to cancel appointments due to therapist illness or unforeseen circumstances
     

3.3 Late Arrivals

Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late may need to reschedule. If the appointment proceeds, the full duration may not be available and full payment is still required.
 

4. Health and Safety Requirements

4.1 Health Disclosure

Clients must complete a health questionnaire before their first treatment and update us of any changes to their health status. You must inform us of:

  • Any medical conditions, injuries, or disabilities

  • Current medications or treatments

  • Pregnancy or possibility of pregnancy

  • Any allergies or sensitivities

  • Recent surgeries or medical procedures
     

4.2 Contraindications

We reserve the right to refuse or modify treatment if we believe it may be unsuitable for your health condition. Please consult your GP before treatment if you have any concerns.
 

4.3 COVID-19 and Infectious Diseases

Clients must not attend appointments if they are feeling unwell, have symptoms of infectious disease, or have been advised to self-isolate. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who appears unwell.
 

5. Professional Standards and Conduct

5.1 Professional Boundaries

All treatments are conducted in a professional, therapeutic manner. Any inappropriate behaviour, sexual advances, or harassment towards our staff will result in immediate termination of service and may be reported to relevant authorities.
 

5.2 Therapist Conduct

Our therapists are qualified professionals who maintain strict ethical standards. They will explain treatments, obtain consent, and ensure your comfort throughout.
 

6. Massage Services - Specific Terms

6.1 Underwear Policy

For all massage treatments, clients are REQUIRED to wear underwear at all times. This policy is non-negotiable and applies to all clients regardless of the type of massage being received. Specifically:

  • Clients must wear appropriate underwear (briefs, pants, or similar)

  • Treatment will not proceed if this requirement is not met

  • No exceptions will be made to this policy
     

6.2 Draping and Privacy

  • Professional draping techniques will be used throughout the massage

  • Only the area being worked on will be uncovered

  • Chest areas will remain covered for all clients

  • You have the right to request additional draping if needed
     

6.3 Massage Oils and Products

  • We use high-quality, natural products

  • Please inform us of any allergies or sensitivities

  • You may request unscented products if preferred
     

7. Payment Terms

7.1 Payment Methods

We accept cash, card payments, and bank transfers. Payment is due at the time of service unless alternative arrangements have been made.
 

7.2 Pricing

  • All prices are as displayed and include VAT where applicable

  • Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice

  • Package deals and gift vouchers have specific terms outlined separately
     

7.3 Refunds

Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis and are at our discretion. Gift vouchers are non-refundable but may be transferred.
 

8. Client Responsibilities

8.1 Personal Belongings

The Centre is not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings. Please keep valuables secure or leave them at home.
 

8.2 Facility Use

  • Mobile phones should be switched off or on silent

  • Please arrive clean and appropriately dressed

  • Respect other clients' privacy and the peaceful environment

  • Follow all posted health and safety guidelines
     

8.3 Feedback and Complaints

We welcome feedback about our services. Any complaints should be raised directly with management and will be addressed promptly and professionally.
 

9. Limitation of Liability

9.1 Treatment Outcomes

Holistic therapies are complementary treatments that support wellbeing but are not medical treatments. We make no guarantees about treatment outcomes and cannot be held liable for any failure to achieve desired results.
 

9.2 Liability Limits

Our liability is limited to the cost of the treatment received. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special damages.
 

9.3 Insurance

We maintain appropriate professional indemnity and public liability insurance for our services.
 

10. Data Protection and Privacy

10.1 Information Collection

We collect and process personal information in accordance with UK GDPR requirements. This includes health information necessary for safe treatment provision.
 

10.2 Information Use

Your information is used solely for:

  • Providing safe and appropriate treatments

  • Appointment scheduling and contact

  • Legal and regulatory compliance

  • Legitimate business interests
     

10.3 Information Sharing

We do not share your personal information with third parties except where required by law or for emergency medical situations.
 

10.4 Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data. Please contact us to exercise these rights.
 

11. General Terms

11.1 Age Requirements

Clients under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Clients aged 16-18 require parental consent for treatment.
 

11.2 Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from purchase date and are non-refundable but transferable.
 

11.3 Photography and Marketing

We may request permission to use anonymised testimonials or before/after photos for marketing purposes. Participation is entirely voluntary.
 

11.4 Changes to Terms

These terms may be updated periodically. Clients will be notified of significant changes and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of revised terms.
 

11.5 Governing Law

These terms are governed by English law and subject to the jurisdiction of English courts.
 

11.6 Severability

If any part of these terms is deemed invalid, the remainder shall continue in full force and effect.
